The hydroelectric power stations use the force of the water to produce electricity.

In the hydroelectric power stations, the electrical energy is obtained in river dams, where the force of the falling water rotates turbines.

The hydroelectric power stations hardly ever contaminate the air, but they can only be constructed in mountains or in reservoirs.
